Bus VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Ready, Set, Goal! Program beginning Fall 2018!

What’s Ready, Set, Goal!?

Ready, Set, Goal! (RSG!), is a community leadership program that involves children ages 9-12, from diverse, underserved Canadian communities who are matched with trained volunteers called ‘KidCoaches.’ In this Kid-led program there are no limits to what Kids can do! Whether they are lobbying with government officials, soliciting support for an animal shelter or collecting supplies for the homeless, Kids are the CHANGE they wish to see in their community!

In an effort to eliminate barriers to participation, FREE bus transportation is provided to Kids in the RSG! Program. We need highly committed, reliable, and fun individuals to fulfill the Bus Leader Role so that we can continue to provide free transportation. Bus Leaders are vital in ensuring our Kids get to and from Activity Days safely and on time. Once at the Activity Day, Bus Leaders will be engaged in essential tasks and special projects to assist the organization’s needs. Bus Leaders are required to have access to a cell phone so that they can maintain an open communication with the Community Outreach Coordinator. An honorarium will be provided at the end of the program in recognition of your volunteer contribution.
